The Big Change: Direct Sheckle Trading is Gone
In a recent update, the developers removed the ability to directly add Sheckles to the trade menu. This means you can no longer give money to another player with a simple click. We don’t know exactly why this change was made, but it has changed how players exchange currency.
How to Give Sheckles Now (The Item Method)
The new way to give Sheckles is an indirect method that involves trading a valuable item instead of currency. Here’s how it works:
- Find a Valuable Item: Choose an item from your inventory that has a high Sheckle value. This is usually a rare plant or a fruit with good mutations. You can check its “Worth” before trading.
- Trade the Item: Initiate a trade with the person you want to give money to. Put your valuable item in the trade window and have them put in a junk item (like a carrot) so the trade can be completed.
- The Other Player Sells: Once they receive your high-value item, all they have to do is sell it to an NPC. The Sheckles they get from the sale is the money you’ve “given” them.
While it’s not as direct as before, this is currently the only way to transfer wealth between players in Grow a Garden.
