The new Trading System is finally in Grow a Garden! It’s the best and safest way to swap pets and items with other players. I’ve created a simple guide to show you exactly how it works, step-by-step.
How to Trade in Grow a Garden
Before you can trade with anyone, you need one essential item: a Trading Ticket.
You can buy them from the Gear Shop. They are very cheap, common, and always in stock, so just grab one whenever you want to start trading.
How to Trade (Step-by-Step)
Once you have your ticket, the process is very straightforward.
- Send a Trade Request: Walk up to the player you want to trade with and give them your Trading Ticket (or press ‘E’ on PC). This will send them a trade request.
- Add Your Items: If they accept, the trading menu will open. You can add your items, pets, and even Sheckles to your side of the trade window.
- Click Accept: Once you’re both happy with the offer, both of you need to click the Accept button.
- Confirm the Trade: A final confirmation screen will pop up showing the full trade. Double-check that everything is correct, and then both of you must click Confirm to complete the trade. The items will then be exchanged!
What You Can (and Can’t) Trade
It’s important to know what you’re allowed to trade in the new system to avoid confusion.
✅ You CAN Trade:
- Fruits & Crops
- Pets
- Sheckles
❌ You CANNOT Trade:
- Seeds
- Gears (like sprinklers, reclaimers, etc.)
