Grow a Garden Pets Tier List and Trading Values

Welcome to the updated pet trading guide for Grow a Garden, reflecting the market after the Kitchen Storm UpdateΒ and the official release of Trading. Pet values have shifted dramatically, so knowing what your collection is worth is more important than ever.

IMPORTANT: Pet values change fast! The new Cooking Event pets are currently valued extremely high due to hype and rarity, but their value will drop as more players get them. Use this guide as a snapshot of the market right now (early August 2025).

If you want to know which are the best plants in Grow a Garden I leave you my updated Seeds Tier List.

New Grow a Garden Pets

All Pets Tier List in Grow a Garden New Update

SS-Tier Pets

  • Huge Pets: The ultimate prize, but their value is now highly varied.
    • God-Tier Huges (Huge Spinosaurus, Huge Rainbow Mimic) are worth 10+ Raccoons.
    • Mid-Tier Huges (useful pets like a Huge Toucan) are worth a Raccoon or more.
    • Common Huges (Lab, Bunny, Hedgehog) have dropped significantly and are now in the B-Tier, worth about a Dragonfly.
  • Kitsune (Regular): Still a king, but its value has shifted due to the Raccoon’s rise. It’s no longer worth 3 full Raccoons. A fair trade is now around 2 Raccoons + a good A-Tier pet (like a Butterfly or Lobster).

S-Tier Pets

  • Raccoon: The only pet to rise in value. It has jumped 10-15% and is now the undisputed currency of high-end trading, worth more than a Disco Bee.
  • Disco Bee: Has dropped slightly. It’s no longer a 1-for-1 trade with a Raccoon; you now need to add a decent B-Tier pet to make the trade fair.

A-Tier Pets

  • Ascended Pets: Have plummeted in value from SS-Tier. As more are created, they’ve flooded the market. An average Ascended pet is now worth about the same as a Butterfly.
  • Lobster Thermidor: (HYPE VALUE) The new Divine pet starts at the top of A-Tier, with a value equal to a Butterfly. This will drop fast, so don’t overpay.
  • Fennec Fox & Butterfly: Holding strong at the top of A-Tier and are almost equal in value.

B-Tier Pets

  • Panda: Has climbed to the top of B-Tier. It’s rare and a collector’s item, trading for more than a Dragonfly despite its useless ability.
  • Spinosaurus: Has dropped to the B-Tier, but is still a very solid pet worth about 30% more than a Dragonfly.
  • Dragonfly: The classic mid-tier benchmark, though its value is dropping. A Raccoon is now worth almost five Dragonflies.
  • Huge Pets (Common): As mentioned above, common Huges now fall into this category.

C-Tier Pets

  • T-Rex & Mimic Octopus: Both are solid pets, holding the top spots in C-Tier. They are useful, but common enough to keep their value in check.
  • French Fry Ferret: (VALUE CRASHING) The hype is officially over. This pet has crashed from the top tiers all the way down to C-Tier, with a value similar to a T-Rex.

D-Tier Pets

  • Chicken Zombie & Queen Bee: Both now sit at the top of D-Tier, with the Chicken Zombie being slightly more desirable due to being unobtainable.
  • Hot Dog Dachshund: (HYPE VALUE) The new Rare pet starts here, but will likely fall to E-Tier quickly.
  • Hamster: Rare, but its effect is negligible, keeping it in D-Tier.

E-Tier Pets (Bulk & Niche Use)

This tier contains pets that have crashed in value or are too common/niche to be valuable trade assets.

  • Top of E-Tier: Raiju, Gorilla Chef (new but very common).
  • Mid E-Tier: Blood Owl, Brontosaurus, Corrupted Kitsune, Mochi Mouse, Spaghetti Sloth. All of these have crashed hard due to being over-farmed or outclassed.
  • Bottom of E-Tier: Blood Hedgehog, Blood Kiwi, Red Fox.
  • Effectively Worthless for Trading: Age 75 Pets (too easy to make now), Tanchozuru, and Kodama (Regular & Corrupted).

Grow a Garden All Pets Trading Value

  • SS-Tier: The god-tier. These pets are in a league of their own and are worth multiple S-Tier pets.
  • S-Tier: The elite. These are the core of all high-end trades and the pets everyone wants.
  • A-Tier: Excellent pets with high value and powerful abilities. Great trading assets.
  • B-Tier: Solid, reliable pets that are always in demand for their useful skills.
  • C-Tier: Decent pets with some value, but are often too common to be considered high-tier.
  • D-Tier: Common but useful pets. You won’t trade them for much, but they’re essential for your garden.
