Welcome to the updated pet trading guide for the Grow a Garden Corrupted Update. Pet values can change in a flash, and knowing what your collection is worth is key to making good trades.
This tier list is based on the current trading value of each pet in the game right now. I’ve analyzed the market to rank everything from the new Corrupted pets to the classic powerhouses.
IMPORTANT: Pet values change daily! This guide is a snapshot of the market right after the Corrupted Update. A pet’s value can drop as more are found, or rise as they become unobtainable. Use this as a baseline for your trades.
If you want to know which are the best plants in Grow a Garden I leave you my updated Seeds Tier List.
Grow a Garden All Pets Trading Value
- SS-Tier: The god-tier. These pets are in a league of their own and are worth multiple S-Tier pets.
- S-Tier: The elite. These are the core of all high-end trades and the pets everyone wants.
- A-Tier: Excellent pets with high value and powerful abilities. Great trading assets.
- B-Tier: Solid, reliable pets that are always in demand for their useful skills.
- C-Tier: Decent pets with some value, but are often too common to be considered high-tier.
- D-Tier: Common but useful pets. You won’t trade them for much, but they’re essential for your garden.
SS-Tier Pets
- Huge Pets: The ultimate prize. A pet’s “Huge” status (born with massive weight) is incredibly rare. Their value ranges wildly, from a simple Huge being worth an A-Tier pet, to a Huge Spinosaurus being worth 10-12 Raccoons. They are the most valuable assets in the game.
- Ascended Pets: Currently, Ascended pets (with the Dawnbound mutation) are often worth more than a regular Kitsune. They are rarer to create than a Kitsune is to hatch, and their mutation is better.
S-Tier Pets
- Corrupted Kitsune: The original chase pet from the Corrupted event. Its value is immense (worth 6-7 Raccoons), but it is slowly dropping as more Zen eggs are opened. Expect its value to skyrocket once the event is over.
- Disco Bee: Surprisingly, one of the most valuable pets right now, often trading for more than a Raccoon. The Disco mutation is extremely powerful and sought after.
- Raccoon: The gold standard of top-tier pets. Its ability to duplicate fruits makes it a cornerstone of the game’s economy. You can never go wrong trading for a Raccoon.
- Corrupted Kodama: A new pet that starts at the bottom of S-Tier. It’s highly desired because it’s one of the few sources for the new Corrupt mutation. Expect its value to drop as more players get it from the event.
- Butterfly: Mathematically superior to the Dragonfly because its Rainbow mutation provides a bigger multiplier than Gold. A top-tier choice for money-making.
- Fennec Fox: A very rare and powerful pet. It holds its value well and is always a solid S-Tier asset due to its mutation-copying ability.
- Age 75 Pets: These have jumped back into S-Tier. They are becoming rarer as players sacrifice pets at Age 50, and every single account needs three Age 75 pets to fully unlock all pet slots.
A-Tier Pets
- Spinosaurus: At the very top of A-Tier. As a pet from the now-gone Dino event, its value will only continue to rise over time.
- Raiju: The new Mythical pet from the Zen Shop. It’s rare and has a unique ability, placing it firmly in the middle of A-Tier, with a value similar to a Dragonfly.
- Dragonfly: The classic “good, but not great” pet. The Gold mutation is solid, but it’s outclassed by the Butterfly’s Rainbow mutation.
- T-Rex: A great pet whose value will also rise now that Dino eggs are unavailable.
- Mimic Octopus: A flexible and popular pet, but it’s more common than many think. Its 20-minute cooldown often makes it less efficient than just using the real pet you’re trying to copy.
B-Tier Pets
- Queen Bee: Top of B-Tier. Her ability to reset other pets’ cooldowns is very useful, and she’s relatively rare.
- Red Fox: Still a valuable pet for its ability to steal seeds, even if its success rate is low.
- Chicken Zombie: This pet is rising in value. It’s no longer obtainable, and its Zombified mutation is a solid 25x multiplier.
- Kodama (Regular): Very useful for the Zen/Corrupted event, but also very common since everyone is opening Kitsune Chests.
- Blood Owl & Blood Kiwi: Essential utility pets for aging up pets and hatching eggs faster. Always in demand.
- Ankylosaurus: A solid pet from the Dino event whose rarity will likely increase over time.
C-Tier & D-Tier Pets
These pets are either very common or have niche uses. They are useful for your garden but don’t hold high trading value.
- Top of D-Tier: Moon Cat (essential for duplicating fruits, but extremely common), Axolotl, Dilophosaurus.
- Mid-to-Low D-Tier: Moth, Night Owl (a worse Blood Owl), Hedgehog (a worse Blood Hedgehog), Pterodactyl (nerfed by the Windy mutation), Seal, Toucan, Bear Bee, Cooked Owl (very common).
